NOTES TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

photo retake day: Photos are being taken on Friday October 5th, for all students who did not have their photo taken at the beginning of the school year. Photo packages are also available for purchase. Prices and information regarding photo packages can be picked up in the office.

West Parking Lot Traffic:  We recognize that there is a great deal of traffic at both the beginning and the end of the school day, especially during inclement weather. We ask that all drivers who drop-off and pick up their children in the west parking lot, continue to drive north and around the traffic circle to leave the school parking lot (see the diagram below). Please DO NOT make a U-Turn anywhere on school property or on Bur Oak Avenue. It is unsafe for our students and other drivers.  Thank you for your help in keeping our school safe.

COLLEGE MINI FAIR AT TRUDEAU: The Guidance department is hosting a college panel presentation and mini fair on October 15, from 12:15 – 1:30. The colleges coming are Seneca, CentenniaL, George Brown, Georgian, Sheridan and Humber. This is an excellent opportunity for the students to hear about the programs available and to talk to individual college representatives. Students who have a class during this time period may pick up an inschool field trip form from the Guidance Office.

Community Involvement: Our students are very involved in the community and complete thousands of Community Involvement hours each year. As such there will often be a delay between the time that they submit their Community Hours to the Guidance office and the time these hours appear on weekly attendance updates. We appreciate your patience with this. The official record of Community Hours is available on the Midterm and Semester End Report Card
